Cassidy- Acropolis and Socrates






Acropolis



Acropolis is a place in Athens. The Acropolis believed to have been inhabited since at least the 7th Millennium BC. The Acropolis was proclaimed as the preeminent monument on the European heritage monuments on the 26th of March 2007. The Acropolis is important in ancient Greece because it has three temples and buildings on the top dedicated to the Greek Goddess Athena.

Socrates
Socrates died when he was the age of 71. Socrates was one of the first three great Athenian Philosphers. He lived thorght the time of Pericles and the Athenian Empire.
