One of the tasks you will be required to do this term during our unit on Ancient Greece is to complete a post each even week (week 2, 4, 6 and 8) that contains 4 pieces of information relating to the last fortnights work. These will be FACT or FICTION. A partner will then have the odd weeks (week 3, 5, 7 and 9) to determine which statements are fact and which are fiction and respond by replying to the post by leaving a comment for their partner. Everyone will post 4 pieces (even weeks) of information and everybody will respond (odd weeks).
Fact or Fiction (even weeks)
- Your post title should be Your Name - Fact or Fiction wk2 (week number)
- 4 different pieces of information required in one post by Friday at the end of each even week.
- Length of information: 1 small paragraph for each piece of information.
- Information must be about something discussed in class in the last fortnight.
- A good post would be one that makes it hard for your partner to work out if the information you have given is fact or fiction.
- You must comment on your partners post by Thursday night in each odd week.
- When you state if your partners work is fact or fiction you must acknowledge how you know this or your answer does not count. i.e I know it is a fact because it says on page 46 of the chapter Mr. Turra gave us on this topic.
- Detail in your responses is important.
