Persians
1200BC a group of Indo-European people that had come from Central Asia, moved to West Asia. They were called the Persians. Sometimes they didn't have enough food so they thought if they went south it could supply them with more food. The Persians settled in what is now Iran. One of the Persian kings were Cyrus, and after the Assyrians got weaker, the Persians and Medes combined together under the one king Cyrus.
