Amelia - Athens and Aristotle

ATHENS

Athens was one of the main two states in Ancient Greece, the other city was Sparta. Athens was also the most powerful state in ancient greece because of its government. It was a very pretty state. http://primaryhomeworkhelp.co.uk/greece/athens.htm

ARISTOTLE

Aristotle was the most famous philosopher of all time in Ancient Greece. He was born in Stageira, Thrace and lived from 384bc to 322bc. When he was 17 he moved to Athens where he became a philosopher. He even ran his own school, Lyceum (otherwise known as the 'walking school' because teachers and students often walked around while discussing topics). http://www.in2greece.com/english/historymyth/history/ancient/aristotle.htm
